Help Michelle Silva Start a New Chapter
I know this is kind of crazy.
I've never done this before, and anyone who knows me knows I’m very intentional about when I ask for help — but this situation has been heavy on my heart, and I don't know what else to do.
I’m a recruiter, and recently I helped a candidate, Michelle Silva, secure a job that will genuinely change her life. This is a stable, full-time opportunity in Tuscaloosa, Alabama — a fresh start, real income, and long-term security.
Here’s the hard part:
Michelle is currently living out of her car and a 10×10 storage unit in Maine. She's a hard worker, has the skills, grit, and determination to succeed — which is why she earned this offer.
She was awarded a $7,000 sign-on bonus, which will be paid on her first paycheck. Once she starts working, she will be fully self-sufficient. The challenge is getting her to day one.
Right now, she needs help covering two immediate, unavoidable expenses ($3,000):
- New tires (she is currently driving on a donut).
- Two weeks of hotel stay near her new job while she starts work and receives her first paycheck
I personally covered her airport transportation for interviews, but I can’t afford to do more — so I’m asking for help.
This isn’t about charity forever. This is about bridging the gap for someone who has already done the hard work and just needs a little help to cross the finish line.
If you’re able to contribute — even a small amount — you would be helping someone move from survival mode into stability. And if you can’t give, sharing this means just as much.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being the kind of community that shows up when it matters.
