Help Michelle Retain an Attorney

Hi my name is Michelle.. I'm a personal trainer and I've been married for 17 years, unfortunately my husband and I separated in April of 2021 and weve been working throughthat since. My personal training studio was set up in the basement of my home and that's where I worked everyday and raised money to support me and my kids since he left.

On Sunday January 16th I walked into my house and found that my husband had completely emptied out our house moved all of our furniture, our kids, my entire gym - everything that we owned...17 years of stuff, to an undisclosed location with another woman. This was a complete surprise and shock to me.

My husband has always been the primary breadwinner in our household hes always paid all the bills and controlled all of the money and since hes left I've had no access to anything other than the money that I have made the am I personal training business which is not a ton.

I met with an attorney today she has explained to me that what is being done to me is completely illegal and that we can immediately file temporary orders for maintenance support and for child custody as tomorrow but her retainer to do this is $5000 I have no money.

She can get started with as little as $3000 but again I probably have a $1000 to my name right now. All I really want is to be able to have my kids back or at least know where my kids are my ability to make money has been taken away from me because I don't have a house anymore and I don't have a place to train my clients and I just really need some help.
