My name is Katie Hall and I’m trying to help my stepmom support my special needs teenage sister after our father unexpectedly passed away this Christmas.

My dad, Kevin Hall, passed away this morning on 12/29/21. He was admitted to the ICU after unknowingly having a major heart attack a week before. He strengthened up and had a successful double bypass surgery, only to have a stroke immediately after, which he did not survive. My dad leaves behind my stepmom, Michelle, who is the primary caretaker for my teenage sister, Addison. Addison (photographed, right) is severely Autistic. She is nonverbal, and also battles Papilledema, a condition causing increased pressure in her brain. This is extremely uncomfortable and painful for Addison as well.

Caring for my sister is Michelle’s full time job. With my dad passing away, their health benefits, house and car payments, and day-to-day expenses are no longer covered. They can use any help to financially support their life going forward.

I live and work full-time in another city, so there’s not much I can do to support Michelle and Addison physically. Please help me help them. Any amount you are willing to donate is appreciated and will help significantly to relieve some of the heavy weight she is carrying as she moves forward without my dad.
