Help Michelle and Her Mom Through A Time of Crisis

Hi Everyone,

I'm reaching out to ask for support for my best friend, Michelle, and her mom, Christine.

From Michelle: Hi everyone, as you may know my mom recently went missing. I really appreciate everyone spreading the word to help find her. It was one of the most terrifying experiences I have ever been through. She had been in an abusive living situation while experiencing a mental health crisis and disappeared. After a month of her being missing, I was able to travel to Illinois to make a missing person's report (which had to be done in person). Luckily we were able to set up a search party and we found my mom living on the streets without access to essential medication, clothing, money, or a phone. I'm now doing everything I can to help her rebuild her life and become comfortable here in California, but I realize it is going to be a difficult long-term process for the both of us.

Michelle needs help getting Christine the care and support she needs - securing a safe place for her to stay, sorting out medical needs, navigating logistical challenges - all while managing the emotional weight of the situation. On top everything, Michelle is taking on the financial burden on her own and is struggling. I'm asking for your support to help Michelle and Christine. They need help covering basic essentials like medication, food, housing, and utilities.

I know this has been a very tight and difficult year for many people, and you might not have much to give, but truly anything will help. Michelle is the kindest most nurturing person. This is a chance to help someone rebuild their life and support a daughter who is doing everything in her power to care for her mom.
