Help Michele and John Recover from Car Scam

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your help on behalf of a family very special to me and so many, Michele and John Tibbs! They are the most kind-hearted, hardworking people I know, and are going through something no one deserves.

Recently, Michele and John were victims of a car scam. They lost a significant amount of money—money they had saved to provide stability for her young family as they take huge steps forward: growing a business, buying a home, and building their future. Unfortunately, the chances of catching the scammer or recovering the funds are slim to none per law enforcement, and the loss has been deeply discouraging.

This past year has already brought Michele and her family immense change and challenge, and this blow feels incredibly unfair. And while we can’t undo what’s been done, we can come together as a community to lift them up in the way they need most right now.

I know how loved Michele and John are by their friends, family and community. They have given so much of theirselves to others, and now it’s our chance to give back. My hope is to raise enough to recoup the money they lost and help them get back on track without having to carry the weight of this alone.
