Michaela is working full time and is 8 months pregnant. She is responsible and doing all the right things to prepare a secure life for her and her 1st child. Last week she was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her childs father. (Thank God, neighbors contacted the police and Michaela/baby are healthy and safe) Michaela was blind sided by this trumatic event. Just as she was preparing for this new chapter, her significant other was jailed, leaving her to face rent and baby expenses alone.

Michaela is doing everything she can to stay on her feet, but the sudden loss of support has made things overwhelming. She’s worried about being out on the streets with her newborn, even though she’s worked so hard to create a safe and stable life. No one should have to face these fears, especially after overcoming so much.
