My name is Holly. I work professionally in public health in the community and am connected to many families currently facing challenges due to ICE activity and immigration policies.

We need to raise $1,800 before January 1, 2026, for a family with young kids to keep them housed. Meylin has an 8-month-old, and her friend she is living with has a 15-year-old. They are both moms now living together trying to support their children due to their husbands being detained at the Geo facility in Aurora, CO.

This week, both husbands were driving through Wyoming to a construction job when they were pulled over and turned into immigration. Meylin's husband has no criminal record and had applied for asylum from Colombia. He already had a court date and is waiting for another in mid-January. These were fathers looking to support their families to have a better life, and now their children are in danger of becoming unhoused.
