Hi, my name is Hailey, and I’m raising funds for my grandmother, Sherry Robey—“Memom” to all of us who love her.

If you know Memom, you know she is the definition of selfless. She has spent her whole life working hard and doing everything for everyone else. She’s the one who shows up, the one who gives, the one who never complains. But the truth is, she would never accept help for herself—she’s too humble, too stubborn, and too used to carrying the load for everyone around her.

Right now, her home has a serious problem that’s making it not the safest to live in. And while she would never ask, I can’t sit back and watch her struggle like this. She deserves better after a lifetime of giving her best to all of us. Honestly, I’m keeping this fundraiser from her—because if she knew about it, she’d make me shut it down.

This is my way of saying: it’s her turn. For once, it’s time we take care of her.

Every donation will go directly toward the repair costs to make her home safe again. Any funds not used directly for the sewage issue will go toward fixing the floors and addressing other unsafe conditions in the house.
