Help Melissa & Her Family Through an Overwhelming Time

Life has been incredibly hard for Melissa and her family this past year. Her husband, Clay, lost his job, and they were hit with the devastating news that he has an incurable form of cancer. Since then, it’s been one challenge after another.

Next week, they’re facing a $1,400 car repair bill—just to keep their only vehicle running. On top of that, their furnace now needs to be completely replaced, with an estimate of over $5,000. To make matters worse, they just lost their food stamps because Melissa recently got a raise at work—pushing them barely over the income limit for assistance. It’s heartbreaking that doing a little better on paper has meant losing the help they desperately still need.

She has reached out to several nonprofits and organizations, but funding is scarce, and Melissa keeps getting told she earns too much to qualify—even though they’re struggling to cover the basics.

They truly need a hand right now just to stay afloat. Any amount you can give will make a real difference.
