On Monday, August 12, 2024, Melanie suffered a massive stroke and was rushed to the hospital for emergency brain surgery. Sadly, despite all their efforts, Melanie passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Melanie leaves behind her four children: Nathan (20), Joey (14), Kingston (12), Zoey (11), and her husband Joe who is out of work due to a disability.

Melanie was a breath of fresh air. Always smiling and laughing, and always available to help out in any way she could. Family meant everything to her, especially her children who are now going through the unimaginable. We are all heartbroken over Melanie’s passing, which has not only left a huge hole in her family’s lives emotionally, but financially as well. Melanie worked two jobs and held the insurance for the family which, unfortunately, will cancel at the end of this month.

We have set up this GoFundMe to raise money for her sweet children who, instead of getting ready to go back to school shopping, are now coping with the loss of their mom who kept the clothes on their back, food on the table, and would do anything for her babies.
