Help Megan & Her Kids Breathe Safe Again

My dear friend Megan is one of the strongest people I know. She’s a full-time working mom of four, doing everything she can to give her kids a safe and stable life. Recently, she and her family moved to Texas in hopes of creating a more financially stable future. Unfortunately, things haven’t gone as planned.

Since moving, they’ve faced one challenge after another. The biggest and most urgent one is dangerous mold in their home. They already had to spend over $20,000 replacing their entire air duct system, only to find mold has now spread into their kitchen.

The impact on her children’s health has been heartbreaking..her 4-year-old suffers frequent nosebleeds, the baby is always congested, and the whole family just never seems to feel well. As any parent can imagine, Megan is exhausted and overwhelmed, yet she continues to show up every day as a dedicated mom and provider.

The cost of the kitchen remodel to remove the mold is about $12,000. While Megan would never ask for help herself, I want to rally around her. She has always been the one to carry the weight for her family, and now she deserves a community to lift some of the weight off her shoulders.
