I am Medhat Mahmoud from Gaza. This war has forced me and my family to flee from the far west of Gaza, seeking safety in the middle, only to see our home completely destroyed. Six families lived in that house, and now it’s all gone. I don’t blame anyone for what we’ve lost, but I do fear for my soul, and more than anything, for my children.
After 14 years without children, my wife and I were finally blessed with twins through a baby implant pregnancy. They are now 8 months old, and I’ve done everything in my power to protect them. We’ve had to flee from place to place, always fearing for their safety. I was ready to die for them.
We were forcibly deported to Rafah in the south, and now we’ve been displaced again and are in Khan Younis. Our situation is dire. I’ve lost my only source of income, and our food is now limited to canned goods. It’s becoming almost impossible to afford milk and diapers for my children.
I’m desperate to find a way to protect them, and I’m planning to flee with them outside Gaza, if possible. I need help to restore our destroyed home and to ensure my children’s safety. Please show your support with a donation.
