Update 3/7 - the goal has been adjusted because we’ve received some donations through PayPal & Venmo for the shed. Thank you so much
In rural Texas, when someone finds a stray or an injured animal, there isn’t a safety net waiting.
That’s why we’re building one. MeBo’s Animal Rescue is growing and so is the need for additional space. We are currently working with limited space, and without proper intake separation, every rescue becomes more difficult and more risky.
We are raising $6,500 to purchase a second dedicated intake shed. This shed will allow us to:
• Safely intake new rescues without exposing current animals
• Prevent the spread of illness through proper separation
• Provide a clean, contained space for medical observation
• Respond faster to urgent calls in our community
Right now, space is the biggest barrier between us and saying “yes” to more animals.
In rescue work, intake space equals capacity, and capacity equals lives saved.
This second shed will be placed on our property and used specifically for new arrivals. It will give us the ability to properly assess, vaccinate, monitor, and transition animals into foster or adoption without compromising the health of others.
We are not building something flashy. We are building infrastructure. Every dollar goes directly toward purchasing the shed and preparing it for safe animal housing.
If you believe rural communities deserve real solutions… If you believe prevention and responsible rescue matter… If you believe every animal deserves a safe place to land…
Please consider donating and sharing. Together, we can turn a simple structure into a life-saving space.
