Help Me Turn Miles into Magic for Rosewell Community Nursery
Donation protected
Next week, I’m running the Edinburgh Marathon. I hadn’t planned to fundraise - but I’ve decided to use the opportunity to support a cause that means a lot to me and my family: Rosewell Community Nursery.
It’s a brilliant place, full of warmth, humour, and heart. The staff are everything you could fantastic: patient, creative, attentive and genuinely caring. Over the past 18 months, they’ve been trying to raise funds to transform the garden into a safer, more exciting and stimulating play space for the children.
They finally managed to hire a company to do the work last year - only to be badly let down over Christmas. After taking payment in advance, the company stopped turning up, and eventually refused to finish the job or return the money. The nursery has effectively been robbed and now they’re in a worse position than before, with no garden and no funds to fix it.
So, I’m running to help. Every penny raised will go directly to getting the garden project back on track.
My company (Future Proof Learning) will match donations up to £500, and if I manage to complete the marathon in under 5 hours, we'll donate a further £500 bonus. So your contribution could go twice as far — or more.
If you can donate, please do. If you can’t, please share the link.
