Hi! I'm Eli!

Back in 2007, I was the victim of a stalker. After going through a very difficult time, I ended up moving to Italy in 2008. Here, I found peace again and got married. But life has always been a struggle because, in Italy, it's not easy to find work after you're 40.

Now I'm 62, and it's been ten long years since I've seen my mother or my son. I really want to move back to Brazil, but I simply don't have the money for plane tickets for myself and my husband, let alone to start over.

That's why I'm turning to you for help. I need to be able to go back, but more than anything, I need to see my mother again, as she's not in good health right now.

Some people might feel embarrassed to ask, but I feel like it takes courage to reach out. I am so grateful for every single Euro you decide to contribute.
