Help Me to Stay with my Family in the US

My name is Heberto. I moved to the US in 2018 after my wife petitioned residence for me. I left my family back to come to my wife and we only have each other. We did everything we were supposed to, paid thousands to make that happen (which we are still paying).

I have had two jobs since I came to the US and I do not have any criminal record. I, fortunately, have never even gotten driving tickets.

I sent the last set of paperwork to remove the conditions for my residence in the US and become permanent. All we had to do is to wait for an interview date from USCIS.

My wife and I moved to a new home at the end of February. We changed the address to our current one. We did not know that USCIS had sent letters that we did not get. Two days ago, we got a letter from the USCIS telling me that I may be deported and that I have to give up my green card and provisional paperwork given as a conditional resident. The USCIS stated that my petition for removal of conditional residency was denied because I did not attend the interview. How would I have I attended if I did not get their letter.

We have talked talked attorneys as this has to be fixed as quickly as possible. The only choice we were given is that I have to process all over again.

This has been so sad for my wife and I, and such an unfair process. My wife is devastated and so worried about what UCIS is putting us through. I love my wife and my baby on the way. I want to be present for them and work hard to continue being a responsable contributing member of this society.

I am blessed by having been given the opportunity to be with my wife and having a place I can call home.

We are trying to get the legal process started back again, before USCIS send a letter for court for me to get officially deported. If that happens, there might not be a lot that we can do.

I want to be present when my child is born, I want to be there to support my wife emotionally and economically.
