This is where her entire family lives.
In her own words,” Gaza witnessed a horrible war, in which I have lost my house, my business, my husband’s dental laboratory and safety. I am no longer safe here. Everyone is targeted and I might lose my life anytime.”
Amani was a food blogger, a shop owner for children’s clothes and a well-known cook. Everything has been destroyed. Since October 7th she has put herself in danger and risk everyday to help the people of Gaza. She delivers supplies and support to pregnant women. She has prepared hundreds of packages of menstrual products, underwear, diapers and wipes for women and children. She cooks for large groups of people who have lost their homes now living in tent encampments throughout Gaza. She has barely slept and worries for her family and children every moment.
She is caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s who requires constant care and is now no longer drinking or eating.
