I never imagined I’d be here asking for help — but I’ll do anything to keep my girls safe.

On September 13, 2025, our world was turned upside down. That day, I learned that my oldest daughter had been carrying a heartbreaking secret for 7 years — that she had been living through something no child should ever have to experience from a trusted adult. (I can’t share more details for legal reasons as criminal charges have been laid.)

I suddenly found myself a single mom doing everything I could to hold us together. Since then, I’ve faced constant challenges trying to get support. I’ve been denied legal aid because I “make too much,” even though we’re barely getting by each month.

I’m not someone who asks for help easily — I’ve always been the one to give when others need it. But right now, I need to put my pride aside for my daughters.

I’m raising $7,000 to cover family lawyer fees to help protect my girls and ensure they stay safe.
