As the people in Gaza are being starved and as this brutality shows no signs of ending, unfortunately, we are forced to keep asking for your help and donations.

My name is Yassmein Alhabbash, a Palestinian from Gaza living in Norway.

I am launching this campaign on behalf of my family and friends in Gaza including my best friend and soulmate, Alaa Alhabash, and her family - her 7 years old son, her mother..etc. Alaa is an english teacher and a poet.

My parents' apartment, the homes of my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends have been reduced to rubble. No homes to return to.

Along with thousands of others, they had their home bombed and destroyed. They had to move from one place to another under the rain of bombs to escape danger, and now they find themselves in a place overcrowded with tents in Rafah without a safe shelter.

My family and friends are facing unimaginable challenges every day. What they're enduring is beyond words, something no one should ever have to bear. Just the thought of it is heartbreaking.

Family time in Gaza was always the warmest, coziest, and most comforting experience. My aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, grandparents and I used to gather at my grandparents' house every holiday. Throughout the night, we would talk and talk, play games, and watch movies together. In the winter, we'd huddle around the fire, sharing stories and laughter. Sadly, the homes we once cherished no longer exist due to the israeli bombing and many of us have been forced into exile and displacement.

My friends and family were once the backbone of their community: doctors, teachers, engineers, nurses, dentists, and business owners. Sadly they all ending up in tents in Rafah with nothing but a glimmer of hope for a permanent ceasefire soon.

Money isn't the only thing they need, but it can certainly make a bit difference.

All the money that is collected goes towards buying food, clothes, blankets, and medicine, and what can be bought in terms of food, clothes, and medicine is very expensive due to high demand and limited supply. I transfer money continuously, and it's not always easy.
