Help my children evacuate from Gaza

Donation protected

Hi, I am Manar, a Palestinian from Gaza. I’m reaching out to you seeking your help for me and my family from the horrors of the relentless war that have been ongoing in Gaza for 5 months now. I have never asked for help from anyone, but the circumstances were stronger than us .
I would like to tell you a bit about my small family.
I’m 27 years old. I’m married to Mohammed nofa and we have two sons Kareem is 8 years old and adam 5 years old.
Once a happy and ordinary family, their world crumbled on the 7th of October, leaving them with nothing. The dream of a cozy, joyful family home turned to rubble.

This once-happy family, each with dreams and a content life, now shares a common dream after the 7th of October — to stay alive and leave Gaza. Our family alongside all Gazan family have suffered almost FOUR months. Our lives crumbled before our eyes!
4 months of this agony is beyond what anyone could bear! The suffering we're enduring surpasses any nightmare we've faced before !!
The torment unleashed upon us is indescribable, and it's tearing us apart!
At the beginning of the war, we evacuated from the north to the south where they looked for a safe place, then we found out our house had been bombed, and our neighbourhood area had been destroyed. The house we lived in for more than 10 years is gone, We worked very hard to build it. In one moment, the effort of years vanished and its memories faded and we're homeless now. Currently, there is no safe place to live or to go, as of now we are sharing the tiny space with a large number of people.

My biggest concern is the future of Kareem & Adam, where they will live, study and grow up. They were among the outstanding students in their school . There is nothing left in Gaza, all livelihoods have been destroyed. Their future became foggy and dark. My husband and I had dreams for ourselves and our children. We dreamed of a simple, calm and bright life and a successful future for them. We all have the right to live a normal life. Karim and Adam deserve a normal childhood and a bright future like other children around the world. We must be able to provide them with the basics of normal life, such as safety first and foremost, physical needs such as food, clean water and clothing as well as education. These are the minimum rights of the child.

My husband's workplace was bombed, leading to the loss of all his money and possessions.

This is our bad situation in the war.
I am afraid and want to be able to leave Gaza and start a new life in a safe place. I am afraid that my children will die. My dream is simple. I want to live in peace and feel safe with my family. And to provide my children with some safety and stability.

Things are getting worse by the minute. Suitable places to live are shrinking, and aid is running out because what comes does not cover needs.
The sooner I’m able to raise the funds, the faster I will be able to cover the expenses of leaving Gaza and survive for a few months in Egypt, until we’re able to figure out our final destination. The prices of the coordination to exit Gaza are being inflated and additional fees added to shorten wait time. To be able to secure a humble place, with a bed, a shower and a table, people who were able to exit Gaza are talking about astronomical amounts for rent. I see myself with no option other than raising the goal in a way that we’re able to cover the expenses for a few months till we manage to settle in some place, in this big world.
After we exit Gaza we still have a new struggle to decide where to head to after Egypt, as we need to organize our documents and apply for asylum or migration to some country where we can start a new life, get jobs and find some place we can call home. We’ll do our best to find even temporary jobs to earn some money till we get to our final destination where we can slowly build our home from the gains of our own work. Hopefully, between a devastating war and the struggle for a new start we might manage to take a brief pause. I miss the days when I was sleeping in my own bed and waking up to take a shower. Simple day-to-day basics long gone. I hope this will end soon and we can get over it and manage to live something similar to a normal life.
I would like to thank each and everyone of those who contributed by donating and sharing and also those who left a kind word. The funds will help us start building a new future and the kind words are comforting our hearts in these dark days. Surrounded by death and destruction, a kind word from people who don’t even know us, shows that we can still believe in humanity. Our hearts beat up with gratitude to all of you.
Lots of gratitude and loads of peace from our small family.
