Hi, my name is Yolanda and I’m fundraising for my brother. At first I was a little shy to do this, but I realized if I can do something, no matter what in order to help somebody I’ll do it. So, I’m here on behalf of my oldest brother Vincent asking for your generous donation to cover some expenses and needs of my brother. Right now he is living in a senior home called “Dr. Gregorio Hernandez senior home” in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Unfortunately, my sister who was helping with the monthly bill for the senior home, her husband had an aneurysm one month ago and is hospitalized now, so she has to face a lot of expenses in her family this means she’s not able to afford the senior home for my brother anymore which is $600.00.

We are going through a lot of sad events in my family and our pensions is not enough to cover my brother’s expenses.

I just want my brother live his days with dignity and peace and avoid him to be a homeless.

Hope this story touches your heart and I ask the good people, community or my friends come together in support, compassion and solidarity.

I would appreciate your generosity knowing that every dollar counts in this situation. The funds will cover the monthly bill for the senior home, medications cause he is under treatment, diapers, food, transportation and other expenses related to the care of my brother.

Hola soy Yolanda y estoy aquí pidiendo su generosa colaboración por mi hermano.

Al principio tenía un poco de recelo hacerlo, pero me di cuenta que por amor a mi hermano puedo hacer cualquier cosa.

El está en un asilo llamado Dr Gregorio Hernandez en Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Lastimosamente mi única hermana que podía pagar mensualmente al Asilo tiene a su esposo hospitalizado con un aneurisma desde hace un mes y tiene muchísimos gastos debido a esta situación, por lo tanto no puede pagar más al asilo de mi hermano lo cual es $600.00 al mes.

Desafortunadamente, en mi familia ya todos estamos jubilados y nuestras pensiones no alcanzan a cubrir las necesidades de mi hermano.

Solo quiero que mi hermano viva sus últimos días, meses o años con dignidad y que no se quede sin hogar.

Yo quedaré eternamente agradecida con su generosa donación cualquiera que sea. Todo dólar cuenta en esta situación.

Los fondos serán destinados a cubrir el pago mensual del Asilo, sus medicinas porque está bajo tratamiento, pañales, comida, transportación y todo lo relacionado con su cuidado.
