Hi guys! This August I am taking the trip out to Ghana for 3 weeks to volunteer at a school in an underprivileged area to help make a meaningful impact. Seeing the challenges many children face such as limited resources and educational opportunities made me want to take part in this experience. A typical day will consist of teaching the kids how to read and write, singing songs and playing sports. I will help to positively contribute to the lives of many children in these deprived areas. I am taking part in the Neon Night Run on the 1st of March to help raise funds to make this trip possible. These funds will contribute to travel expenses, accommodation, fees and supply’s to take with me. Donations such as school supplies, clothing or any old toys will also make a huge difference to these kids.
