Help Me Represent Mental Health & Resilience at Miss Universe Canada 2025

Hi, I’m Valeriia, and I’m honoured to share that I’ve been selected as an official delegate for Miss Universe Canada 2025!

This journey is about so much more than pageantry.

It’s about healing, visibility, and turning personal transformation into collective empowerment.

I’m raising $3,785 CAD to cover my delegate fee — and that’s what this GoFundMe will directly support.

Any funds raised beyond that will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Windsor branch), where the need for support around trauma recovery, intimate partner violence, and mental health services continues to grow.

Why This Matters to Me

As a psychology graduate with clinical experience in mental health hospitals, I’ve witnessed firsthand how deeply people are suffering — especially women navigating cycles of trauma and recovery. I believe that mental health is not a luxury, but a human right.

Pageants often focus on outer beauty — but I’m using this platform to talk about what’s often left unseen: the strength it takes to heal, to rise, and to advocate for yourself and others.

My own journey started in an unexpected place: with no dance or athletic background, I found strength and confidence through pole dancing, which became both a physical practice and a healing tool. Becoming a teacher showed me just how transformational movement, self-expression, and community support can be.
