Hi,

I am Lana Shama. I am 10 years old from the war torn Gaza, and here is my story.

We were a happy family with my hard working father, Momen, and my mother Rasha. They worked immensely to build our lives, built us a house, and gave me and my 5 siblings a simple life that was full of joy and hope for a bright future.

Then the war started, and we have been enduring immensely challenging experiences. We lost our house just weeks into the war, and have now been displaced for the 8th time. We moved from temporary shelters, to friends and family houses, to shelters or other friends homes again as the cycle of destruction continued.

What once was our home now lies in ruins. Our car now lies as wreckage, and all our means of life have been completely obliterated and destroyed.

At a total loss of everything, we find ourselves in a situation that threatens our lives every day. The ground attacks and the airstrikes continue unabated, and we are in desperate need to survive and to escape this peril and death. We urgently need your support.

Therefore, we have decided to launch a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe, with the aim of raising the necessary funds to sustain our lives and flee Gaza and live safely somewhere else when we get the opportunity to leave. This is a desperate call for help as things are getting worse and we are getting calls to evacuate wherever we go.

Every penny can make the difference between life and death for me and my family.
