Hi, I’m May, and this October I’ll be travelling to Uganda to volunteer with an incredible charity called M-LISADA.

M-LISADA (Music, Life Skills, and Destitution Alleviation) supports vulnerable children in Kampala through music, education, and safe housing. Founded by former street children, it now provides a loving home, daily meals, schooling, and musical training to hundreds of young people. Many go on to build confident, independent lives — often through music.

My school, Latymer Upper, has worked closely with M-LISADA for years through the Music to the Rescue programme. I’m so excited to contribute in person — but I need your help.

I’m raising money for the charity before my trip.Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference.
