I came to the UK in 2005, six years before the war broke out in my home land. I came to study and left behind my beloved family. I had hopes and dreams like many others that life would be easier and more comfortable here but I was faced with many challenges in my health and from others who took advantage of my situation and I was left with a huge debt. Alhamdulillah I received help from some lovely sisters and from the local masjid so I was able to pay my debts.
This appeal is not for me, but for my brother and his need to support my elderly parents back home. The collapse of the financial and social infrastructure since the war has been difficult on the citizens and as a result, my family have lost much and can no longer financially support each other.
My brother has studied hard to fulfil his dream of becoming a pilot and now he requires training before he can work. The airlines are now all private so training also needs to be paid for in order to qualify. He needs to complete 200 hours of training to qualify as a Pilot and this will cost around £25,000. This can be paid in installments and the first one will be due when he starts the training which will be £8,000.
He desperately wants to complete this training so he can secure a job and support my family, especially my parents who have been through so much.
Your help would mean so much to us right now, any amount you can give will be forever appreciated.
JazakumAllah khair
