My name is Liam, and I'm fundraising to help pay for a camps international trip to Borneo.
The purpose of this trip is to help develop necessary infrastructure in the local communities of Borneo. This involves buildings such as schools, wells, sanitation facilities and assisting in efforts of wildlife conservation. It's trips like these that really make a difference in the lives of people much less fortunate than us, which is why I'm so honoured to be part of this effort.
While on the trip, I will have the fantastic opportunity to interact with local wildlife, (maybe the most exciting being baby orangutans!) and also be given the exciting chance of scuba diving off of Borneo's stunning beaches.
This is where I need your help, in order to go on this trip, and make a difference, I'm going to try to fundraise at least £1500, starting by walking one million steps within the space of only 40 days, which is 25,000 steps a day on average.
This will be very challenging, but worth every step for the impact my help will make on people's lives, and the amazing experience of the beautiful country of Borneo.
I'll be posting weekly updates of my steps for those who are interested.
Thank you for your help!
