Hi everyone,

I honestly never thought I’d be in a position where I’d have to do something like this, but life has completely turned upside down. A fire broke out in the apartment above mine.

The amount of water used to put it out caused so much damage that my apartment is no longer livable. The ceilings collapsed in multiple rooms, parts of my apartment lost electricity, and I’ve had to leave my home while everything gets repaired. The hardest part has been losing so many of the things I worked so hard for. I had to throw away my bed and much of my furniture because of the damage. Watching your home fall apart overnight is something I never imagined I’d experience.

If you know me, you know I’m not someone who likes asking for help. But right now, I’m trying to start over from scratch while keeping up with everyday bills and the unexpected costs that come with something like this.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to help cover temporary housing, replace basic necessities like a bed and furniture, and cover other essential expenses until I’m able to return to my apartment.
