I am at the very beginning of setting up a warm, welcoming space where I can offer Reiki, holistic coaching, Sacred Cacao Path circles, and community support sessions, a place that feels like a soft landing for anyone who needs it.

on a personal note this has happened very out of the blue, it was not how I thought this was going to turn out but the opportunity for the space came up and it was just to amazing to miss. I have spent the last 20 years of my life battling with mental health, and honestly I still am but this journey has given me focus and I now want to help others find the same.

While I will run CIC-related events here in future, this space is being set up personally, not through the CIC, and I’m hoping to raise £1,500 to help with the basic costs of getting it off the ground.

This includes things like:

• Carpeting our little den area (because some like to sit on the floor and wooden boards are… less than ideal) not the whole floor just the zen den

• Paint — and loads of it! It’s a big job and we’re doing it with love

• Essential items like a second-hand fridge and some comfy, practical bits to make the space welcoming, a kettle, I do have loads of stuff already but there are just some things I do not have

• Anything left over will go directly back into the community: free or low-cost events, 1:1 sessions, and a collaborative wellness offers

If you know me, you know I’ll only shop second-hand and local. Every pound you give will end up being spent at charity shops in Todmorden, supporting other causes as we go. I’ll also source everything from local businesses ensuring not only that the money goes back into the community but also to make sure this space is built by — and for — the community.
