Hi everyone! My name is Collette Starratt, and I’m a junior at Johns Creek High School.

I’m raising funds for an incredible opportunity to travel to Costa Rica, where I’ll be shadowing medical professionals and serving local communities. This trip will give me hands‑on experience in healthcare while helping people who don’t always have access to it.

During the trip, I’ll be working in mobile clinics at local schools, where I’ll help take vitals, assist with basic eye exams, and provide children with new glasses when needed. I’ll also spend time at an elderly care center, learning how to take vitals and support physical and occupational therapy sessions.

Toward the end of the trip, I’ll return to elementary schools to lead a dental health campaign, teaching students about oral hygiene and how to care for their teeth.

This will be my first time leaving the country, and it’s a rare chance for me to learn, grow, and make a real impact. So any support, big or small, truly means the world to me.
