For the past decade, I have faced unstable housing, constantly worrying about where I will live next. Now, my landlords are selling the house I currently call home, and I have a chance to finally secure stability—but I need your help to buy it before it's gone.
I have been living with ALS for 13 years, a progressive disease that affects mobility, speech, and independence. Finding accessible housing is incredibly difficult and expensive. This home is already set up for my needs, and moving would be a devastating disruption—both physically and emotionally.
Why This Home Matters
It’s already my home – Moving with ALS is exhausting and expensive. This home is familiar, safe, and comfortable.
It’s accessible – Finding another wheelchair-friendly home would be nearly impossible, and adapting a new space would add enormous costs.
It’s a chance for stability – After years of uncertainty, owning this home would give me long-term security, peace of mind, and dignity.
How You Can Help
I need to raise $400,000 for a down payment to purchase this home before it's sold to someone else. Every donation, big or small, brings me closer to securing the only home where I feel safe and independent.
If you can’t donate, please share my story. Your support means the world to me.
Thank you for helping me build a future of stability, dignity, and independence.
