I am a single mom, and it has been a struggle to find full-time work and affordable childcare. I finally found a job working for the state again full time, but I recently lost my option for child care. In order to keep my job, I need to get my daughter into reliable daycare.
Today, I was at the library meeting with a social worker to help with resources, and I ended up meeting someone who runs a 24-hour daycare during the week. I would still need a sitter on weekends, but I am hoping I can figure that out. There are weekly costs and a registration fee to consider. I will be applying for the ELC program again once I get a statement from my job to submit as proof of employment, and I am hopeful I can get approved quickly. But until I have a paycheck, I really need help so I can get back to work as soon as possible.
Any support you can offer will help me keep my job and provide stability for my daughter during this transition. Thank you so much for considering helping us. Your kindness means the world to us right now.
