My name is Randa I am from Sudan, and I am doing this fundraiser to help my family escape the war in Sudan. What's happening in my country is so terrible that no one can imagine. It is getting worse every day. They have no power, no water, and no access to food, the hospital has shut down. There is no way to get supplies in and people are dying because they can't receive proper care. I am here in the United States so far away & I feel helpless. This has affected me in so many ways; emotionally, physically, & my overall well-being. It is my greatest desire to know that they are out of harm's way & I will be able to be in contact with them again. It has been so difficult for them to try to flee. The prices of bus tickets have gone from $20 to $250 per person & who knows what they could be now? My family is large, with 10 adults & 17 children (some of which will be able to ride on the lap of an adult), but they have to find a way out immediately.
