I lost Max again on March 29, 2025. I have no other choice but to go public and ask for your help. The legal system has failed my child again and again.

For nearly two years, my son and I have been victims of legal abuse that is enabling my ex-husband to erase me from Max’s life—with the full cooperation of the Spanish court system.

In July 2023, my ex-husband physically assaulted me, then told the police I was the abuser. I was arrested in my own home. That criminal case is still open in Madrid’s 47th Court under Judge Adolfo Carretero and remains based solely on my ex’s word and manipulated video evidence. Judge Carretero—who is currently under investigation in another high-profile case for judicial abuse—told me in court that he believed I had inflicted my own injuries, despite clear medical documentation from SUMA and my full cooperation with all proceedings.

Since that arrest, my 8-year-old son Max has been systematically separated from me.

• I did not see or speak to Max from July 18, 2023 until January 2024.

• From January to December 2024, I was allowed only one hour per week with him at a supervised center (PEF), where I was forced to speak to him in Spanish—not our common language.

• In December 2024, I was finally allowed to see Max unsupervised, every other weekend and for half of all holidays.

Max was waiting for me at school that Friday. I was not allowed to show up. I couldn’t even tell him why. He was met with silence.

I now have no contact with my son. Again.

There are no court restrictions on communication, but my ex has blocked every message and call since July 2023. Max has also been cut off from his entire maternal family—his brother Sam, his aunt Irene, and the many people who’ve loved and supported him from birth.

Why I Need Help:

The latest court ruling falsely claims I failed to attend psychiatric check-ins.

This is completely untrue.

• I attended four in-person sessions and two phone consultations, all documented.

• The only delay was on the doctor’s end—not mine—in submitting the report.

• That report confirms I show no signs of alcoholism or any danger to my son.

I’ve worked with my own therapist and psychiatrist for over six years. I’ve passed random alcohol tests, complied with every court order, and even personally requested a psychiatric evaluation, which recommended 50/50 custody.

The only so-called “evidence” ever offered was a video from June 2022, showing one isolated moment of overconsumption—filmed and edited by my ex, who frequently enjoyed wine and cocktails in moderation with me and left Max in my care for days or even months at a time throughout our marriage.
