Hi, my name is Varinder.
I came to Canada in 2018 as an international student and have been working hard ever since to build a stable life. Over the years, I completed my studies and continued working on a work permit, works 7 night shifts while also supporting my family back home.
For the past 8 years, I’ve been in a long-distance relationship. Being apart for so long has been one of the hardest challenges of my life. Now, I finally have the opportunity to bring my partner to Canada so we can start our life together.
I have already paid $19,000 toward her education and application process. However, I am currently short $20,000 for the required GIC deposit, which is due in May 2026.
This is not about luxury or personal gain—it’s about finally being together after years of sacrifice, distance, and emotional struggle.
Alongside this, I continue to support my single mother and younger sister back home. Balancing everything has been overwhelming, and I’ve been dealing with stress while still showing up to work every day and doing my best to move forward.
Any support—big or small—would mean the world to me and help us take this important step toward building a future together.
I truly believe in giving back, and once I am in a stable position, I hope to support others in need within the community.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can offer.
“The only photo we have together is from years ago, as we’ve been in a long-distance relationship ever since.”
Due to our long-distance relationship, we haven’t had many chances to meet in person, which is why most of our memories are from years ago. Despite that, we’ve stayed committed and supported each other through everything.
