Hi, my name is Nicholas Taylor, and I’m a devoted father who’s been suddenly and completely cut off from my young daughter. I never imagined I’d be in this situation — asking strangers for help — but right now I have no other option.

What’s Happened

Until recently, I had regular video and phone contact with my daughter, which meant the world to both of us. That contact has now been entirely blocked by her mother and maternal grandmother — with no legal order in place, no wrongdoing on my part, and no regard for the emotional distress this is causing our daughter.

Her mother has said she’s uncomfortable with me seeing my daughter — not because of anything I’ve done, but due to her own past experiences in a previous relationship, where her first child was removed by the courts following incidents linked to her ill health and physical harm.

Now, I am completely shut out of my daughter’s life, and I am deeply concerned for her wellbeing.

⚖️ Why I Need Help

I want to take the right, legal steps to ensure my daughter is safe and to re-establish contact through the courts. To do that, I need to instruct a family solicitor and apply for a Child Arrangements Order.

Unfortunately, the upfront legal costs are beyond my reach. I work on a 16-hour contract and simply do not have the £500+ needed to retain a solicitor. I’ve asked about payment plans, but unless I can raise an initial amount, I may not be able to act fast enough.
