Help Me Restore Hope for Veterans and First Responders

Prior to Wes' incarceration, serving others was his chosen career. Unfortunately, years of service also led to undiagnosed and untreated PTSD. Without the tools or support to properly cope, Wes turned to unhealthy coping mechanisms that ultimately resulted in a 10-year, non-violent prison sentence.

Even while incarcerated, Wes' desire to help others never faded. Wes became a Peer Support Specialist, dedicating himself to mentoring and supporting other men as they worked to heal, grow, and become better versions of themselves. Through shared lived experiences, Wes witnessed firsthand the power of hope, accountability, and human connection.
Now, as his release approaches, he is preparing for my next chapter—one rooted in service, faith, and healing. He is working to establish a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans, first responders, and individuals impacted by the justice system heal from the invisible wounds of trauma and be reminded that they matter.

Wes' organization will support individuals facing PTSD, Post-Incarceration Syndrome (PICS), anxiety, and depression through peer support, shared lived experiences, and therapeutic outdoor activities grounded in faith. The mission is simple but powerful: restore hope, build resilience, and help people rediscover purpose beyond trauma.

This is where Wes needs your help:

Starting a nonprofit and serving others comes with real costs. Your donations will go directly toward startup expenses, program development, and essential equipment needed to support healing and recovery. Every contribution helps create a foundation that allows this mission to reach not only those in need today, but also those who have not yet been reached.

Your support will have an immediate and lasting impact. By giving, you are not only helping me—you are empowering lives, restoring hope, and becoming part of something bigger than all of us.

His mission is big, but with God and your support, all things are possible. Thank you for believing in redemption, healing, and second chances.
