While some friends may know a bit of my story, many details have been more challenging to share.

Only a few Friends and family members know that my family and I have been denied our Permanent Residency after a very long and complicated wait and need to return to Mexico. My Goal now is to raise money for my legal counsel + representative, to cover a month of rent in Mexico, and to cover my cats' vet and travel bills.

Anyone who knows me knows that my passion in life is making others feel beautiful via makeup, making art, and spreading kindness. Being a freelance artist has had its ups and downs these past two years; due to the COVID pandemic, inconsistent income and the instability in my life, it has been tough to save up on my own this past year.

Since finding out that I've been denied Permanent Residency, I have been hit with financial setback after setback. This has sent me into a deep state of depression and anxiety that I struggle with daily.

It's been challenging to accept that I must leave this country after 15+ years of growing up in Canada. ; I started first grade here. I graduated high school here.

I came to Canada when I was a child. Now I'm leaving as a young adult.

Moving to Mexico means starting over in many areas of my life.

I must establish my career in a new country, find new clients and even start a new job.

I have to find a new place to live.

Before I can do that, I must hire legal representation for my immigration hearing before I leave, and to further assist me with my immigration case.

I need to pay for Boo's Vet bills and travel documents.

I also need to cover my own travel fees.

I have so much to do but can't afford any of it.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to me for my legal representative, travel fees and housing.
