Between the time Thursday night April 13th and Friday Morning April 14th my drums, cymbals and hardware were all stolen from my vehicle. Losing my drums is like losing a huge part of me. It’s my livelihood and it’s an extension of myself. I spend a lot of time working on my craft and to have all that taken from me behind my back hurts. The drum kit was a black Gretsch Catalina Club and it also had a marble Gretsch Brooklyn snare. All of my cymbals were Instanbul Agop. I had 3 rides and a pair of hi-hats (30th Anniversay 22” ride, Cindy Blackman OM Ride 20”, Big Turk 22” ride, 15” Dark Dry Hi-Hats Brilliant finish), a ClapStack. All of my gear had bags, so drum bags and a cymbal bag by Ahead, and a hardware bag with all of my hardware. I had a Roc-N-Soc throne and a Tama Iron Cobra pedal. All of this equipment was easily $4,000 or more. The cymbals being about half of that at least. Each cymbal cost anywhere from $375- $600. The snare was about $400. The kit was about $800. The hardware set was about $400 as well. The pedal runs at about $250 as well as the drum throne. And everything had bags, which also adds up.
I’m just asking for a simple donation for as low as you want. Feel free to donate whatever you may feel in your heart and it’ll all help me in a big way. The city means a lot to me and I make sure I always keep Indianapolis in my heart dearly. And to people in other cities including family or friends from college I love you all as well. Anything will help me recuperate the losses. Again I thank you, I love you and your support.
Peace
Carrington “Clint Breeze” Clinton
