I recently lost my mother unexpectedly, just a week and a half after I moved in with her to escape a difficult situation. When she passed, I suddenly found myself with nowhere to go, and I had to move into a shelter. In the midst of all this, I had to put all of our belongings into storage, hoping I could find a way to keep them safe until I could get back on my feet.

This has been an incredibly hard year for me. Last July, I also lost my daughter, and the belongings in storage are filled with memories of both my mother and my daughter. These items are more than just things—they are the core memories and reminders of the people I love and have lost. Being able to recover them would mean everything to me as I try to rebuild my life.

The funds I raise here will go directly toward paying the storage fees and moving my belongings out once the fees are covered.
