Hi friends,
I don’t usually ask for help—but right now, I’m not sure where else to turn. Many of you know from my social media that I recently had open-heart surgery. Thankfully, the surgery was a success, and I’m feeling stronger every day.
But here’s the challenge:
During the months leading up to surgery, the operation itself, and recovery, I was unable to work for over 4 months. As a self-employed person, no work means no income. I fell behind on my bills, and now I’m facing over $50,000 in hospital expenses on top of that. I’m at risk of losing my home and my car.
I’m back to work now, but the money is going out faster than it’s coming in. I just need a few thousand to catch up and stabilize so I can move forward.
If you’re able, any donation—big or small—would mean the world to me. When I’m back on my feet, I plan to give back as a donor and supporter of the American Heart Association, in gratitude for the incredible medical teams who literally saved my life.
Thank you for reading my story, and God bless you for your kindness.
