<div>I don’t usually ask for help—but right now, I’m not sure where else to turn. Many of you know from my social media that I recently had open-heart surgery. Thankfully, the surgery was a success, and I’m feeling stronger every day.

<div>But here’s the challenge:

<div>During the months leading up to surgery, the operation itself, and recovery, I was unable to work for over 4 months. As a self-employed person, no work means no income. I fell behind on my bills, and now I’m facing over $50,000 in hospital expenses on top of that. I’m at risk of losing my home and my car.

<div>I’m back to work now, but the money is going out faster than it’s coming in. I just need a few thousand to catch up and stabilize so I can move forward.
