Hi everyone, my name is Selena, and recently I moved to California for a fresh start and better opportunities for myself and my family.

Since arriving, I’ve been doing everything I can to rebuild stability and create a new beginning. I have experience working in healthcare as a CNA, and I’m currently in the process of transferring my certifications and applying to jobs throughout the area. While waiting for stable employment, I’ve been working through DoorDash and Uber Eats daily to continue covering expenses and pushing forward.

Shortly after relocating, I also experienced an unexpected financial setback involving a rental scam, which made this transition even more difficult and left me trying to recover financially while continuing to search for stable work. Despite everything, I’m staying determined and continuing to do my best to move forward positively.

This fundraiser is meant to be temporary support while I continue job searching and getting established. My goal is to cover two months of truck payments, one month of rent, groceries, gas, and basic necessities during this transition period.

Moving and starting over hasn’t been easy, but I’m staying hopeful and continuing to work hard every day. Any donation, share, or words of encouragement would truly mean so much to me and help relieve some of the stress while I work toward stability again.
