Hi everyone, my name is Alayna Kauffman and on July 6, 2024, my only parent passed away. My mom was the most kind-hearted, loving nurse and friend that anyone could’ve ever met. She was my best friend and even though I didn’t grow up with much money in our household, she made sure I got the things I wanted. She worked so hard to provide for me even though she was a single mom. She battled cancer for 9 years and while her only wish in life was to live, it took her life at 45.

Since I no longer have any parents or financial support in my life, I’m setting up this Gofundme to help with that. I’m a full time student at Ferris State and I have an apartment, car, and other expenses to pay for that I’m no longer getting help with. I also don’t have health insurance and I have to navigate through life by myself now.
