Over the past year, I’ve faced some of the hardest challenges of my life. I lost everything and am currently staying in a hotel, trying to rebuild my life so I can be closer to my children—Clayton, who is 14, and Caleigh Rae and Carter (11), who live just ten minutes away. My greatest hope is to create stability, not just for myself, but so I can be present and make memories with my kids as they grow.

I recently started working as a car salesman, determined to get back on my feet. After paying child support, I’m left with very little each week to cover food, transportation, and the cost of my hotel stay. It’s a daily struggle to make ends meet, and saving up for a security deposit or reliable transportation feels out of reach. My biggest challenges right now are having enough to eat and finding a way to pick up my children so I can spend time with them consistently.

Having a stable home and a dependable vehicle would mean everything to me and my kids. It would allow me to be present in their lives, watch them grow, and create the memories every parent hopes for. Right now, I’m doing this on my own, and any support—whether it’s a donation or sharing my story—will help me take the next step toward rebuilding and being the father my children deserve.
