I recently made a huge move—over 2,000 miles from Idaho to Virginia—hoping to build a better future for myself and to help my sister. I took a leap of faith, leaving behind everything familiar for a new job and the chance to support my family. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. After I arrived, my sister and I had a falling out, and she asked me to leave. Since then, I’ve been on the streets, trying to keep my job and find a way to get back on my feet, but it’s been incredibly hard to make ends meet and keep a roof over my head.

Right now, I’m reaching out for help because I have nowhere to stay near my work, and I’m struggling to afford even the basics like food and shelter. I’ve always been someone who tries to figure things out on my own, and it’s taken a lot for me to break my pride and ask for support. I don’t like to be a burden on anyone, but this time, I truly don’t know how to get through this without help.
