For over 25 years, I’ve poured my heart into building a life in America, striving to help others and uplift my community. In 2003, I was deeply honored by the city of California for my efforts in saving over 200 lives from the grips of overdose. Service has always been my guiding light; it’s who I am at my core, and I’ve found joy in making a difference.
But recently, my world was turned upside down. One early morning, I was taken from my home by ICE, and I spent 11 long months in a facility, filled with uncertainty and fear. After facing the terrifying prospect of deportation, I was sent back to a country that feels like a distant memory, a place I haven’t truly known for decades. The adjustment has been heartbreaking, and I find myself desperate for support to rebuild my life from scratch.
I’m reaching out because I need help to secure housing and food as I navigate this overwhelming new reality. I feel lost and alone in a foreign land, wrestling with the weight of my situation. If you find it in your heart to support me, it would mean the world. Your kindness could be the lifeline I desperately need as I strive to rise again. Thank you for considering helping me on this challenging journey. Your generosity could light the way back to a hopeful future.
