**Help Us Find Safety: A Mother's Plea from Gaza My name is Inas Abunada, and I’m writing to you from Gaza, where life has become a relentless struggle. I am married to Sadam Alsharatha, and we have a precious 9-month-old son who was born during the chaos of war. My heart aches knowing that my child has never known peace—he sleeps on the hard ground instead of in a soft bed, and every day is a fight to survive.
We have been displaced from our home in the north to the south, seeking refuge wherever we can find it. We moved from crowded shelters to a sweltering tent where temperatures soar to 38°C, and the air is thick with dust and insects. Our bodies are covered in painful bites, and our skin is constantly caked with sand. Even the most basic necessities, like clean water, are nearly impossible to obtain. Gaza has become a place where fear, hardship, and uncertainty are our daily reality.
We dream of escaping this life, of finding safety in a country where our son can grow up free from the horrors of war. We long for a place where he can play without fear, sleep peacefully at night, and have the chance to build a bright future. But we can’t do this alone—we need your help.
Your support will enable us to leave Gaza and start anew in a place where we can live in peace and security. It will give our son a chance to experience the childhood he deserves, one filled with hope instead of fear.
Please, if you can, help us make this dream a reality. Your generosity, whether big or small, will change our lives. Thank you for your compassion, your kindness, and your support in our time of need.
Thanks from the bottom of our heart.
