HELP me SAVE my girls from genocide and rebuild our life

Hello good hearted people,

My name is Samiha Al-Haddad. I am 33 years old Palestinian born and raised in Gaza City and I never traveled outside the borders of my little country.

I am married and I am a mother to three princesses: Carmel (5 years old), Ban (4 years old) and Rajaa (2 years old).

I have a bachelor in Business Administration and I worked hard since I graduated to support my family and build a good future for my girls.

In 2023, I decided to quit my job and establish my own business. I also wanted to be independent and more flexible to spend more time with my family and also secure a better future for my girls.

I invested all my years savings and sold my jewellery and also borrowed some money to open my beauty salon. I worked hard for months and planned every detail as I wanted it to be a special project. On the inauguration day, I was dancing with happiness, feeling proud of my work and hopeful for the future.

But life suddenly turned upside down only 5 months later in October 2023 when the horrible war on Gaza started. I lost everything; my home in Beit Lahia was destroyed with all our belongings. My family and I had to flee Gaza City to the south more than once and now we live in a tent in Rafah.

My Beautiful salon was totally destroyed. My dream was shattered My life savings vanished. Looking at the pictures of my destroyed dream breaks my heart

The current living conditions for my little girls also break my heart. They sleep on the floor in a place that lacks basic hygiene. There’s not enough food and they are often sick. They lost their warm home, their toys, their childhood. They now collect wood for fire to cook, go with their father to look for water and they must reduce their food intake.

Of course it’s needless to say that they are also deeply traumatised by the war; the constant bombing, the destruction and death they see around them everywhere and the loss of many family, neighbours and friends.

I must save my family and my girls from this misery and deprivation.

But to do this I need YOUR HELP.

I lost everything I own and I still have a loan to pay for my salon, which was my only source of income.
