Help Me Make a Global Impact with GIVE in Tanzania!

Hi everyone,

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted to embark on a life-changing volunteer trip this summer with the GIVE (Growth International Volunteer Excursions) organization! This 14-day journey will take me to the beautiful Zanzibar Island and the vast African savannas of Nyerere National Park in Tanzania. I’ll be working alongside local community members to build vital infrastructure, teach English, and support women’s empowerment initiatives. In addition to the service work, I’ll have the incredible chance to experience Tanzanian culture and nature.

As I step into the summer between graduating from undergrad and starting graduate school in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I can’t think of a better way to grow as a person, a future therapist, and a global citizen. I’m deeply passionate about giving back, expanding my cultural competence, and supporting sustainable, ethical tourism—values that this trip embodies.

While this is a volunteer experience, it does come with a financial cost to cover travel, accommodations, and program expenses. I’m humbly asking for your help to make this dream a reality. Any contribution, big or small, means the world to me, and even sharing this with others is an incredible help.
